One of the best reasons for using an adult toy made of Pyrex glass is that it is the cleanest material to manufacture sex toys from. Glass is a non-porous material and won’t absorb anything as rubber or plastics will. You really don’t have to worry about any sort of bacteria or fungus and glass won’t retain any sort of smells either.

As far as cleaning goes, there are several “sex toy cleaners” on the market that will work just fine but you really don’t have to purchase anything special. All we really recommend is to us a mild soap, any type will work fine but you may want to go as far as using one of the “anti-bacterial” soaps on the market. Simply use your favorite soap with a soft cloth or sponge with warm water. Make sure you place a dish mat or tub in your sink just in case. Glass can get very slippery and if you drop it in your porcelain or stainless steel sink you may damage your toy.

Since these toys are made from Pyrex they are very durable and can withstand extreme temperatures you can place them in a dishwasher if you would like but we recommend just soap a soft cloth and warm water. You can use any sort of personal lubricant with your Pyrex glass dildo or sex toy. In fact, glass is so slick that many of our customers note that they don’t need any sort of lube at all and that there natural juices prove to be enough to enjoy playing with a glass sex toy. Remember glass is a non-porous material so it will not absorb a lubricant (or any contaminants too) as rubber or plastics will.

If you find that you want to use a lubricant our only recommendation would be that you use a lube that has a thicker consistency. The reason for this is that glass is very slick and if you use a thinner lube it often just runs right off the glass, a thicker lubricant will stay on the glass better. After a long hiatus Prince Valiant has returned! You see, often times a glass sex toy company will outsource particular styles to an outside glass shop, as was the case with Prince Valiant. From time to time there is a falling out between the two parties, which may lead to certain products being redesigned by someone else or being discontinued, as also was the case with Mr. Valiant.
